It’s time to heal from past experiences and step into your most resourced self.

I understand that the process of therapy can be intimidating or overwhelming (I’ve done it myself!).

We will start with a free, 20-minute phone call to answer any initial questions and give some space for the two of us to see if we feel like a good match. If we both agree to proceed, we will schedule an appointment. 

During our first session we will discuss more in depth what issues are bringing you to therapy. Whether you want to resolve experiences from your past, feel more in control of your present, and/or gaining skills for your future. I will ask you many questions about what you hope to get out of our time together, as well as your personal history. It is also a great time for you to ask any questions of me, and get a better sense of my style to ensure you are comfortable moving forward.

From there, therapy typically begins at a weekly pace to start. I will guide you to set goals for your time in therapy, and we work to meet the goals you set for yourself.

Online Therapy:

Convenient. Accessible. Without the Commute.

I offer virtual sessions, and find that many people enjoy this format. Online therapy is similar to in person therapy, except you and I can meet from the comfort of your own home – and without the commute. 

I use the HIPAA compliant, medical version of Zoom to ensure privacy and will send out the link prior to our scheduled meeting. I recommend testing the software prior to the meeting to avoid stress that can sometimes come with technology barriers.

In my experience, it is best to create a space where you have privacy, creature comforts (that cozy blanket, a nice cup of coffee or tea, pen and paper if you like to write things down, and a comfortable chair), and reliable wi-fi.
